NOV is almost here

morning, did everyone had a good Halloween weekend?

not sure if everyone feel the same way, since I came back to work in HK I've notice, how important this little American festival has rinsed in Hong Kong's soul.

all of a sudden it felt this is a major event in HK, everyone will be out on the street to celebrate (esp LFK/ Ocean Park) and many organisers will use this festival to host big party to make some big bucks!

to state the obvious, Ocean Park would make a special TV ads for their "annual" Halloween party. Did you notice the word "annual" .. scary!!

I'm amazed how drastic things can change over time. Now it's the Gwai Lows who stand on the sideline to watch the locals dress up and take their cameras out to snap the actions on the street.

Anyway, being the gal I am.. of course I continue my usual weekend activities that is party on night long doesn't matter is Halloween or not.. but certainly it was fun than most other weekends. first we hit crowded Dragon I to avoid empty "FULL HOUSE" volar, and it was a very wise decision. the music at Dragon I was great, they'd this old songs round (Wham, boY george ) and it has been so long since I last heard all these songs it was great...

(yes I know it's a sign of aging... PISS OFF)

last but not least, we finish our night at volar...

it was good because they'd the DJ that I like ... got to dance with Justin Timberlake - Sexy Back!

NOV is here.. don't be surprise if you couldn't reach me... because everyone is in TOWN!

like many of my friends (including my gym instructor) have asked me... so what's up in this coming LONG weekend.

to all my dear friends, do you remember who do I work for
a giant US bank... so that mean no holiday for me

so now its my turn to ask what's new ...

anyone going anywhere special? or meeting anyone special? eating something special?
in short, anything special?!

well i am meeting someone special this weekend...
one of my aunt will be in town from San Fran, I think the last time we met up was like 10yrs ago. time flies!

so quite looking forward to meet up with them. since this aunty of mine have been giving me and my sister "lai see" every year. but there is a catch, she passes the check to my dad, and its an US Bank check so my dad never cash it for us, since its too much of a hassels to cash US check in HK

do you think this time I'll get a lump sum from her. hee hee

anyway, i'm still on a mission right now, fixing all my Spain photos.
def taking me longer than I expected. but my best gal is coming back next week (KAT) so i ought to finish it before she arrives.

this time the lucky winner is fabulous Toledo...
but why Monday Toledo?
because almost everywhere in Spain Monday is just another Sunday for them. all shops/ museos are closed! and we planned to spend only one day in Toledo..what a shame!

such as life.. so we did it SLOW! but still walked heaps.. don't believe me, pls ask florence Lam! her feet can assure you, we did our walks!!

NOV is another exciting month for me... and my gals..
first one of my best best best friend is coming back for a month (who.. KAT)
she is a great dessert CHEF.. man i don't want to imagine how BBBiGGG my stomach will grow!!!
yummy... pudding... chocolate.. and scones

then another good friend of mine will be stopping over for few days .. from Europe then head back to Syd. another great cook who made really nice homemade soup

note both are staying at my place.. lucky me right!

then one more a good colleague of mine just email me said she will be in town just before i head to Sydney for 4days...

oh before i forgot to mention.. we are all heading to Shanghai for a weekend too..
so exciting..
so many traveling

i don't have to pack my backpack now..
i'll just let it lie like a deadbody on the ground..

it sounds exhausting just writing the up-coming schedule.

of coz in between there will be zillions of DINNERS, DRINKS, LUNCHES, BRUNCHES, Desserts tasting, BBQ, one aids benefits dinner, movies, and of coz VOLAR

PS in case you haven't heard.. just got a new nickname w/ one of my best gal.. "VOLAR TWINS" i don't have to explain how we got this name right!?!

sorry ladies i have to disappointed you. yes we did spend most of our w/e at volar!!

i know how typical..
but last night the music was great
the only bad thing was we bumped into so many familiar faces!!

that def was the downside
